Wengen Chalets is a Small Personal Company Based in the Stunning Alpine Resort of Wengen. We Have a Number of Chalets and Apartments to Rent in Wengen.

We pride our self in our quality of service, high attention to detail, adaptability, efficiency, trust and integrity. We have a passion for property, for the mountains, the snow, Switzerland and particularly the stunning village of Wengen.

Owners: Tracy and Colin Willmott. We manage a number of small, medium and large chalets and apartments in Wengen and the surrounding area. For our client and guest services, we offer a full chalet and apartment search and booking facility. For our property owners, we offer a full or part managed service. We act on behalf of our managed chalets and arrange rentals on behalf of the property owners

For property owners under our managed service – Our services include the following but are not limited too – Visits before your guests or any friends arrival, check the heating is turned up (or down), open or close windows as appropriate, check all light bulbs, check water levels, etc. and carry out similar after guests leave to ensure that your chalet is correctly locked, heated, ventilated, in fact whatever is necessary. We can arrange to carry out minor repairs, alterations, changes or organise repair work. We check the chalet over and we can react quickly if there are any emergencies.

We make regular visits to all chalets and apartments under our instruction to ensure everything is all in good order, no leaks, etc. we can compose checklists of itinaries, of items to be done and items outstanding.

We charge a structured fee arrangement for all chalets and apartments under our instruction.

We can also offer building and renovation contracts that include a full range of small to large building services and project management For our property owners we can oversee general maintenance and repair items that need organising, we react to anything needed and generally act as your “right hand man” based locally.

About Wengen

Wengen is one of Switzerland’s oldest Alpine ski resorts and certainly one of the prettiest. Indeed it attracts as many visitors in the summer as it does in the winter ski season.

The village, which is perched on the mountain side, is only accessible by means of a cog railway, visitors leaving cars at Lauterbrunnen in a large under cover car par.

Visitors come to this car-free resort in the summer to hike, mountain bike, play tennis, swim or simply to enjoy the magnificent views in this unique part of the Bernese Oberland. There is much to do both in summer and in winter and all set against the spectacular backdrop of the famous Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger mountain range.

Wengen is situated on a sunny plateau and offers breathtaking view to the Jungfrau. Key excursion is the railway trip to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The Lauberhorn Races in January and the Jungfrau Marathon at the beginning of September are only two of the top events held in Wengen.

Close by is also Piz Gloria and Schilthorn, where James Bond “On her Majesty’s Secret Service” was filmed, some years ago.

The Inferno Downhill race is traditionally held the weekend after the Lauberhorn World Cup, this downhill ski race for amateur racers starts at the Schilthorn and finishes approximately 16kms later in Lauterbrunnen.
